Whose Body Is It?

1 Corinthians 6:12–20

  1. God made it: the body is good (Gen 1:31).
  2. Christ bought it: you are not your own (1 Cor 6:19–20).
  3. God will raise it: the body has a future (1 Cor 15:42–44).

Remember: I am a steward, not an owner.

This week’s challenge: Write a prayer offering your body to God (Rom 12:1).

Every Bite for His Glory

1 Corinthians 10:23–31; Daniel 1

  1. Food is a gift: receive it with thanks (1 Tim 4:4).
  2. Food is a good servant but a poor master (1 Cor 6:12).
  3. Daniel resolved ahead of time to be faithful (Dan 1:8).

Remember: Jesus is the bread of life (John 6:35).

This week’s challenge: Pray before every meal; add one vegetable a day.

Hungry for God

Matthew 6:16–18; 4:1–4; Isaiah 58

  1. Jesus said “when you fast,” not “if.”
  2. Fasting reminds us we live by every word from God (Matt 4:4).
  3. True fasting leads to generosity (Isa 58:7).

Remember: Fasting doesn’t earn God’s love. It makes me hungry for Him.

This week’s challenge: A one-meal fast, or a fast from something other than food, with prayer.
