Plan

12-Month Health Calendar

A theme, a verse and one action for every month

Five weeks starts something. A calendar keeps it going. Pick up this rhythm after your sermon series and your church has a year of encouragement already planned.

How to use it

  1. Put the themes on the church calendar at the start of the year, alongside everything else. What isn’t scheduled doesn’t happen.
  2. Give each month one visible thing: a bulletin blurb, a table in the lobby, one announcement. That’s enough.
  3. Assign a month to each health-team member so no one carries all twelve.
  4. Use the weekly tip in your bulletin all year. One verse, one fact, one action.
  5. Adapt it. If your church runs a fall kickoff or a summer camp, move the themes around to fit.

Keep it grace-filled all year

  • Never publish anyone’s numbers, and never rank people.
  • Offer a seated or low-impact option for every physical activity.
  • Keep food events affordable, and never let cost keep someone home.
  • Expect seasons. Some months will be quiet, and that’s fine. Faithfulness beats intensity.
